FTA NINES
The 2025 Nines Premier League marked the beginning of an incredible chapter for FTA Community.
Entering the Sydney Qualifiers in November 2025, our team stepped into the competition with one goal - to represent our community with pride, passion and purpose. As newcomers to the tournament, we embraced every challenge, building momentum throughout the weekend and earning our place in the Grand Final against a strong Campbelltown Saints outfit.
Although we fell just short in the decider, finishing as runners-up, our journey had already achieved something remarkable. By reaching the Grand Final, FTA Community secured qualification for the Nines Premier League National Finals on the Gold Coast, earning the opportunity to compete against some of Australia's best Rugby League Nines teams.
Gold Coast Bound
Making the trip to the Gold Coast was only possible because of the incredible support from our sponsors, partners, families and wider community.
Every donation, sponsorship and word of encouragement helped turn a dream into reality. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who backed our team and believed in our vision.
At the National Finals, FTA Community once again showed resilience and determination. We lost just one pool game throughout the tournament, but the final standings saw us progress into the Shield Finals.
Rather than dwelling on what could have been, our players responded the only way they know how!
One finals win became two.
Two became three.
FTA Community proudly lifted the Nines Premier League Shield, finishing our inaugural campaign as National Shield Champions.
This journey has never been just about winning football games.
FTA Community was built to create opportunities, inspire the next generation and showcase the talent, pride and culture that exists throughout Western Sydney. Every time we pull on the jersey, we represent our families, our communities and everyone who believes in what FTA stands for.
The friendships created, the lessons learned and the memories made throughout this campaign will remain with us forever.
